I know that they lost some position players from last year's team, but they do return two good arms. The one girl pitched them to a 3rd place Class S finish last year. They beat us 8-6 in the regionals last year. It should be a very good game to open the season.

Lick Creek will likely win their regional and will do well at state, as they finished 3rd (not Waltonville) in Class S in 2007. Lick Creek will be very strong this year with eight 8th graders and two ace pitchers.
