Hello All-
On Wednesday August 27th at 7:05pm the Southern Illinois Miners will be playing the Windy City Thunderbolts at Rent One Park in Marion. As a promotion for this game, the Southern Illinois Miners will be hosting High School and Junior High Sports Night. We will offer local junior high and high school sports teams the opportunity to go on the field and be announced along with their coaches in front of the crowd before the game (approximately 6:15pm). We are also offering any teams interested in participating, discounted ticket rates. They are as follows: $6.00 box seats, $4.00 reserve seats, and $2 lawn seating. This is a great opportunity to promote team unity and to recognize your athlete’s hard work. You must register with me and purchase your tickets ahead of time. We encourage all teams participating along with their supporters to wear team jerseys or shirts. Also anyone who walks up to purchase a ticket that night and is wearing apparel with your school mascot or logo will receive a discount on tickets.
